Lewis Hamiltonโ€™s Burgundy IWC Big Pilotโ€™s Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition

โ€” Updated on 15 June 2021

Itโ€™s not often we see a burgundy and rose gold combination on the likes of an IWC, but Lewis Hamiltonโ€™s Big Pilotโ€™s Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition is an absolute beauty.

An esteemed ambassador of the Swiss timekeeper, the six-time Formula 1 World Championโ€™s new wrist steez is a striking combination of beauty and practicality.

This variant of the Big Pilotโ€™s Watch Perpetual Calendar strays quite far from the heritage of the timepieceโ€™s military origins, delivering a unique interpretation of the classic piece. The intriguing colour of the dial is actually referred to as โ€˜Bordeauxโ€™ and also reigns true for the 22mm textile strap.

Housed in a 46.5mm black ceramic casing, the watch features IWCโ€™s 52 calibre movement that boasts a seven-day power reserve and is waterproof up to 60 metres.

18-karat gold adorns the open case back and crown, as well as the Big Pilotโ€™s indices and hands to add some striking contrast to the burgundy dial.

If youโ€™re keen to get your hands on one of these beauties you best be quick, with the watch limited to just 100 units. The IWC Big Pilotโ€™s Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition retails for $75,500.
