If the latest teaser trailer is anything to go by, Amazon Prime Video’s Luxe Listings Sydney is back and better than ever for season 2. And by the time those calendars read April 2022, our eyes will once again be glued to screens.
Real estate titans Gavin Rubinstein (TRG at Ray White), D’Leanne Lewis (Laing+Simon Double Bay), and buyer’s agent Simon Cohen have signed on for another six episodes. This time around, however, the dynamic trio will be joined by an additional element: Founder & Director of Diamondz Property Monika Tu. Based on the footage provided today, the Chinese-Australian executive renowned for “leading the revolution” of global buyers breaking into the Aussie property market will prove to be yet another screen worthy element.
Considering the impressive viewership numbers season 1 generated – the platform’s biggest Australian original to date – it was rather unsurprising to learn Amazon had greenlit the renewal of its Selling Sunset counterpart nice and early. Clearly, there’s plenty of entertainment value to be found in an unscripted series following these high-powered big wigs as they negotiate the drama-rich landscape of Sydney’s coveted property market – “showcasing breathtaking homes with harbour views and beachfront backdrops” – plus the drama-rich landscape of their respective personal lives.
