Childish Gambino's new FX show Atlanta finally has a release date: September 6. On Friday night Gambino (aka Donald Glover) posted the release date to his Instagram along with a brand new trailer for the show.
It's the first real look we have been given of Atlanta, which is executive produced and written by Glover. If that wasn't enough, the triple threat also stars in the show and plays Earnest "Earn" Marks, a struggling artist trying to come up through the Atlanta hip hop scene, along with his cousin (Brian Tyree Henry).
Glover, who is perhaps best known for his work as the rapper Childish Gambino, actually began his career as a writer for "30 Rock" and has already had success as an actor including a five season stint on cult-followed "Community".
