Childish Gambinoโs new FX show Atlanta finally has a release date: September 6. On Friday night Gambino (aka Donald Glover) posted the release date to his Instagram along with a brand new trailer for the show.
Itโs the first real look we have been given of Atlanta, which is executive produced and written by Glover. If that wasnโt enough, the triple threat also stars in the show and plays Earnest โEarnโ Marks, a struggling artist trying to come up through the Atlanta hip hop scene, along with his cousin (Brian Tyree Henry).
Glover, who is perhaps best known for his work as the rapper Childish Gambino, actually began his career as a writer for โ30 Rockโ and has already had success as an actor including a five season stint on cult-followed โCommunityโ.
