We've said it before and we'll say it again - Tom Ford is a style god, so when the acclaimed fashion designer offers advice on how to look good, you listen.

Teaming up with online fashion store Mr. Porter, Ford has been handing out lessons on style and appearance over the past few months but has saved his best advice for last with these three golden rules when it comes to grooming for men.

1. Look after that baby faced skin

This might seem obvious, but you'd be surprised how many men neglect to wash their face, with Ford insisting you do it morning and night and apply a moisturiser after to keep your mug looking fresh and those wrinkles away. He also recommends using a concealer to cover unwanted blemishes and to always wear sunscreen when outside.

2. Perfect your stubble

As someone with a healthy beard, this doesn't exactly apply to me, but as TF comments, "carefully maintained stubble is one of the fundamentals of masculine beauty." It helps accentuate your jawline and give you a more manly appearance without looking scruffy.

3. Take care of your brows

Ford believes maintaining good brows makes a "huge difference in the way you look" and adds to your overall appearance. Just make sure you don't over do it with the tweezers.

This is all grooming 101 gents, but if life's ever too hectic to cover off all three, just remember what the designer says at the beginning of the above video:
