In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got the final word in wine storage, a modern frag for modern men, a superfast running shoe, and plenty more.
Lavender Goes Metal

When putting together Metal Lavender, Aurélien Guichard of Matière Premiere wanted to create a modern, wearable lavender scent.
Avoiding both barbershop connotations and sleepy time tea iterations, Metal Lavender distills the metallic elements of lavandin and softer lavender essence – grown in Guichard’s own fields in Grasse. He’s one of the only perfumers in the world growing his own ingredients, and boy, does it show.

Blanc Heist

Billecart-Salmon is one of the few champagne houses available in Australia that has been family-owned for seven generations – no acquisition, no compromise. A rare feat in the world of conglomerates.
The Rosé is the flagship (and deservedly so), but the Blanc de Blancs is the one that's been quietly going under the radar. Crafted exclusively from Grand Cru Chardonnay sourced from four villages on the Côte des Blancs – Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, and Mesnil-sur-Oger – and aged five years on the lees before disgorgement, it has all the complexity of a premium blanc de blancs without the Krug price tag.

LOEWE On Top

The latest contender in the recent lace race – to make the lightest running shoe – is none other than Spanish house LOEWE.
In their latest collaboration with On, they’ve introduced the LightSpray Cloudmonster. Printed uppers in three minutes using LightSpray tech, the Cloudmonsters are a laceless, ultra-light “everyday” shoe. The only catch? The designer markup is sizeable, running you back for over $1k.

Not Too Much To ASKO

Let’s face it: we all want an Alfred to pour us a glass of wine after a long day fighting crime, and after checking the specs of ASKO’s new wine climate cabinet, I can say with some confidence that it’s everything you’d hope, without the occasional quip.
With virtual sommelier tech, an integrated serving area for a range of glassware, and a vibration-free compressor system, this is a wine cellar on steroids. The wine cabinet has three individually controlled temperature zones for storing and serving your Chianti perfectly. It even has a charcoal-filtered air system to preserve every last drop.

The Astronaut Wears Prada

Prada's been on the Artemis III spacesuit since 2024, but the news this week is the layer nobody sees – the Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment, unveiled with Axiom Space, that sits between the astronaut and the suit itself.
It circulates water through tubes across the body's major muscle groups to remove heat, doubling as a ventilation system that delivers fresh oxygen. Think Dune without the case of blue eye. It also looks sick – when the first woman walks on the moon later this year, the thing keeping her comfortable will have a touch of Miuccia.
The Buzz About Tudor

Your favourite watchfluencer’s favourite watch brand has dropped the Tudor Black Bay Chrono “Bumblebee”, a punchy 39mm treatment of the 41mm model. With a 70-hour power reserve, Calibre MT5813, redesigned snowflake hands, and, of course, the impossible-to-miss bright yellow dial, it’s both a callback to the original “Tiger” and an irreverent addition to the Daring Watches collection.
