A ‘Speedy’ 911
I don’t need to explain who the restomod brand Singer is to you; all you need to know is that their latest project in collaboration with Louis Vuitton is, surprisingly, quite tasteful.
As the first co-branded project in Louis Vuitton’s history, the original project began from a request for a custom dashboard clock, leading, naturally, to a Porsche Classic Coupé and a Classic Turbo Cabriolet. Among many eagle-eyed details, the two cars feature custom blue tires, a gear shifter base styled after an LV handbag, and, of course, a detachable mechanical dashboard clock that converts into a desk clock.
Snake-Proof Moleskins
We recently popped into the R.M.Williams collection showcase (plenty of good stuff to come), but what caught my eye were this pair of moleskines. Made from 100% cotton moleskin, they’re based on an archival pair that was hardy enough to – reportedly – handle snake bites, and – allegedly – even protect from a landmine.
