Clearly, Ronnie Fieg has a thing for steezy old thespians. After enlisting Jerry Seinfeld for Kith FW22, followed by Edward Norton (of Glass Onion fame) for the brandโs team-up with BMW; the American designer has outdone himself, unveiling a new campaign that puts small screen legend Bryan Cranston in front of the lens.
A TV actor of some notoriety โ best-known for his four-time Emmy winning turn as Breaking Bad protagonist Walter White โ Cranston embraces his inner โBlue Skyโ kingpin for this latest Kith campaign; modelling a selection of layers that will be released later today as part of Drop 1 of Kithโs Spring 2023 collection.
Captured against the dusty foothills of Palm Springs, California; Cranston wears a variety of knit and sewn outerwear โ most of which is very much at odds with his legendary Heisenberg persona.

Instead, this is what we imagine an alt-universe Walter White wearing โ Walter White โPrimeโ, if you will โ having wiped out all of the competition: car coats in sumptuous nappa leather, coachโs jackets decorated with intricate patchwork motifs, and cardigan/knit polo medleys that convey the impression of a lethal Mr. Rogers. For those who love their menswear with a hint of geriatric swagger, this is great stuff all-round.
On a more semantic note, this Bryan Cranston campaign only covers โDelivery 1โ of the new Kith Spring 2023 collection โ a whopping 197 new releases that, in the brandโs consummate style, will touch denim; outerwear; trousers and a wide variety of accessories. Releasing stateside at 11am (EST) youโll be able to pick up a huge swathe of the gear Cranston sports here starting at 8pm local time.
The big question is: which iconic actor will Fieg cast next? Your guess is as good as ours.
