Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink deals, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.
In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got a wafer-thin OLED TV from LG, LEGO’s “biggest innovation since… erm… ever”, Japanese watchmaking at its very best, and plenty more.
LG OLED Evo W6 Wallpaper TV

The tech world has been abuzz with the countless exciting new products revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 – described as “the most powerful tech event in the world” for good reason.
From NVIDIA to LEGO (more on that later) and everyone between, this year’s event saw LG unveil its all-new OLED Evo W6 Wallpaper TV. It isn’t just the South Korean brand’s brightest TV ever, but also one of its thinnest.
At just 9mm thick and almost completely wireless, it’s a proper engineering marvel. You’re getting Hyper Radiant Color Technology to make it almost four times brighter than your average OLED TV, a display surface that’s the lowest-reflecting screen LG has ever made, and inputs via the brand’s True Wireless Zero Connection Box to keep your home entertainment set-up as cable-free as possible.
Pricing and availability are currently TBC, though if you’re in the market for a new TV that’s unlike anything you’ve owned before (and Samsung’s new 130-inch monster doesn’t tickle your fancy), the OLED Evo W6 Wallpaper TV is definitely worth a closer look.
Samsung Freestyle+

Elsewhere on the home entertainment front, Samsung has doubled down on flexible, go-anywhere viewing with the launch of The Freestyle+ – an AI-powered evolution to its best-selling (and personally enjoyed) portable projector, unveiled ahead of CES 2026.
Building on the cult appeal of the original Freestyle, this updated model refines the formula with brighter visuals, smarter AI, and broader entertainment features, all wrapped in the same compact, cylindrical design that made it a favourite among apartment dwellers and frequent movers.
At the heart of The Freestyle+ is Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology, which removes much of the friction traditionally associated with projection. Automatic keystone correction, real-time focus, wall calibration, as well as screen fitting work together to adapt the image to corners, textured walls, or angled surfaces. The idea is simple: point, place, and press play, without fussing over settings or room conditions.

Enhanced Bixby support further layers in a more responsive, context-aware experience.
Portability remains central to the design: The Freestyle+ is light enough to shift between rooms or pack for travel, with a 180-degree rotating body that projects onto walls, ceilings, or floors without mounts. It’s built for everyday viewing, adapting naturally to changing spaces rather than demanding a perfectly prepared setup.
With Samsung TV Plus and Gaming Hub built in, streaming and cloud gaming require no external devices. A 360-degree speaker, on the other hand, delivers surprisingly full sound, while Q-Symphony allows seamless pairing with compatible Samsung soundbars.
The Samsung Freestyle+ will be rolled out globally throughout the first half of 2026 (register your interest below). Domestic price TBA.
LEGO “SMART Play”

LEGO enters the 21st century with the debut of its all-new “SMART Play” system at CES 2026, which the company has called its “biggest innovation since… erm… ever”!
Essentially, LEGO has developed a new “SMART Brick” that’s packed with more than 20 patented innovations, including accelerometers, a sound sensor, a miniature speaker, and much more.
When you combine this all-new brick with its pairing of SMART Tags and SMART Minifigures, your LEGO sets will quite literally come alive and respond in real-time to how you’re playing with the sets, making specific sounds and completing behaviours based on your movements. Best of all, it’s 100% backward compatible with all existing LEGO sets.
The new technology will debut in a trio of sets, including “Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter (75421)” US$69.99 (AU$105), “Luke’s Red Five X-Wing (75423)” US$99.99 (AU$150), and the “Throne Room Duel & A-Wing (75427)” US$159.99 (AU$240). Pre-orders open today.
Credor Goldfeather Imari Nabeshima Porcelain Dial Limited Edition

We’re a little early in the year for new watches to be dropping, but the team at Credor – high-end sibling of Seiko and Grand Seiko – has announced the release of the Goldfeather Imari Nabeshima Porcelain Dial Limited Edition.
Limited to just 60 pieces, it flaunts a 37.1mm stainless steel case, is powered by the brand’s ultra-thin calibre 6890, and most importantly, features a remarkably beautiful cobalt blue porcelain dial (sourced from the Hataman Touen kiln).
In essence, the dial is a celebration of Okawachiyama – also known as the “village of secret kilns” – where Imari Nabeshima is based and features a semi-translucent porcelain surface with a feather motif.
The watch will be available from February.
Shokz OpenFit Pro

Shokz has officially drawn the curtains back on the OpenFit Pro – its most advanced true wireless earbuds to date, pushing open-ear audio into more everyday, all-hours territory.
Announced under embargo ahead of CES 2026 – and something we’ve had both the privilege and delight of testing firsthand this past month – the OpenFit Pro introduces a carefully tuned noise reduction feature that works within the realities of an open-ear design. The aim is not isolation, but balance: clearer sound without cutting the on-the-go operator off from the world around them, if you will.
At the very nucleus of this evolution is Shokz’s open-ear noise reduction technology, powered by advanced acoustic modelling, a triple-microphone system, as well as an ear-adaptive algorithm that predicts and moderates ambient noise in real-time. Perfect for environments like offices and gyms (take our word for it), allowing you to stay present while enjoying more focused audio. With a single press of a button, you can shift between scenarios without breaking rhythm.
Sound quality has seen a significant upgrade. An ultra-large 11 x 20mm driver with dual diaphragms works alongside Shokz SuperBoost to deliver detailed, distortion-free audio, while OpenBass 2.0 adds depth without bleed. Rounding out the new and improved package, DirectPitch 3.0 reduces sound leakage; and support for Dolby Atmos with head tracking places listeners firmly at the centre of the mix.
As per the Shokz reputation, comfort is a defining strength. Built with Ultra-Soft Silicone 2.0 and a titanium-enhanced frame, expect all-day wear, backed by IP55 water resistance and up to 50 hours of total battery life. Pre-orders are now open with the Australian launch scheduled for January 22nd, 2026. And yes… we’ll stake our reputation on that claim it’s certainly worth the money.
Samsung x Erwan Bouroullec Music Studio 5 Speaker

A final innovation from CES 2026, and we have yet another Samsung product (and yet another audio-related pick, for that matter) – this one dubbed the Music Studio 5 Speaker, and crafted in collaboration with French designer Erwan Bouroullec.
Resembling more of a sculpture than your everyday home entertainment essential, this new speaker has been tuned by the team at Samsung’s Audio Lab, features a four-inch woofer and twin tweeters for balanced sound, while also offering AI Dynamic Bass Control to avoid any audio distortion.
Additionally, it comes with Wi-Fi casting, voice control, and Bluetooth via Samsung Seamless Codec to make it easy to connect however you want.
Pricing and availability remain TBC, but it has to be one of the most interesting speaker designs we’ve seen from a major brand like Samsung in a long time.
