Originally made as a commission from Oman’s Royal Opera House under the name “Sinbad”, it’s a honeyed meld of spices like cardamom and pink pepper, tropical fruits, black tea, and vanilla. Exclusivity comes at a price – $799 to be exact. Maybe one to grab a sample first?

If you don’t know Bird, you’ll no doubt be familiar with Bird in Hand wine. Together with Fleurieu Distillery, this is the brand’s recent foray into Australia’s ever-growing whisky market, and it’s a huge statement of intent for what many (including the brand) consider Bird’s cheaper alternative to its original single malt.
