Apparently Jack Sparrow will returnin the latest instalment of Pirates of the Caribbean, according to Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer-extraordinaire behind Top Gun, F1: The Movie, and, of course, the hugely popular swashbuckling film franchise. It’s supposedly time for a new story to be told, however, with Margot Robbie set to lead a new era of the franchise; Depp’s iconic pirate is expected to take more of a supporting role. Whatever the tale, Disney will no doubt be hoping that enough time has passed since the dismal returns of the last two releases. Drink up, me hearties. Yo ho.

I just got back from an ice-driving experience with Zeekr at a secret testing facility in New Zealand’s Southern Alps, and I’ve never had so much fun behind the wheel of a car. We drove two exciting new models that are scheduled to land in Australia next year – the big daddy Zeekr 9X, and the weaponised wagon, the 7GT. Both an absolute hoot to drive. Pricing is to be confirmed, but both are very compelling at first look.
