Hublot knows how to throw a party... as the Swiss watchmaker took over Sydney to officially unveil its new Classic Fusion Balloon Dog collection with contemporary artist Jeff Koons. Take it from us, there was plenty to look at beyond the colour-matching cocktails.Inspired by Koons’ famously inflated Balloon Dog sculptures, the new 42mm pieces come in three suitably loud colourways, with balloon-inspired cases, an inflation-valve crown, a little rubber tail, and even a tiny dog riding the seconds hand. I went in keen to try on the blue piece, and left wanting to pick up the mirror-polished steel, which spent most of the evening reflecting a warped, funhouse version of everyone standing around it.
