There are cycling kits… and then there are cycling kits that look like you accidentally rode through a wormhole on Beach Road.
Melbourne performance heavyweights MAAP have linked back up with cult streetwear chaos merchants Perks And Mini (P.A.M.) for their fourth capsule, aptly named “Outer Terrestrial”, which should immediately tell you this isn’t about marginal gains: it’s about looking good while you’re out there.

MAAP has worked on more than a couple of white-hot collaborations in recent years, from the Tecton X2 trail-running shoe created in partnership with HOKA to the 100% Hypercraft performance sunglasses that put the speed in “speed dealers”. However, this link-up feels more familiar, with MAAP left to handle the technical side of things, while P.A.M. brings its own take on a psychedelic fever dream.
As far as winners from the collection, we’ve got the Pro Air Jersey 3.0 that lands in either a galactic “Violet Cosmos” or a stealthier black-and-neon combo (which also glows like a servo sign at 3 AM). Pair it with the Team Bib Evo Cargo, which is now decorated with reflective graphics that are impossible to miss under streetlights and perfect for those early morning training rides.

Beyond the bib/jersey combo, the capsule also presents a new Wind Jacket in aggressively radioactive Glow Lime (ideal for Melbourne’s four-seasons-in-ten-minutes weather), plus an Air Mesh long sleeve that’ll keep you warm when the mercury dips more consistently.
When I interviewed Jarrad Smith, one of MAAP’s Co-Founders, back in 2022, he explained his vision for the brand wasn’t simply to be limited to cycling kit. In the years since, he’s done exactly that, because the off-bike gear in this collab goes just as hard.
We’ve got hoodies, tees, shorts, and a full line-up of accessories, including bottles, socks, caps, all of which come together to look less “post-ride coffee” and more “post-ride gallery opening”.

That’s always been the charm of MAAP and P.A.M. when they come together, creating performance kit for riders who don’t want to look like they lost a bet with a European club team. It’s serious gear that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
