Original ‘Jurassic Park’ Cast To Return In Next Movie

— Updated on 30 July 2021

Anyone who’s a fan of the original Jurassic Park will be feeling a touch nostalgic after it was announced three key cast members of the 1993 blockbuster will be joining the upcoming Jurassic World 3

Sam Neill, Laura Dern and the legendary Jeff Goldblum (who’s also starring in his own travel show) will reprise their roles as Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Slater and Dr. Ian Malcom in Colin Trevorrow’s dinosaur-filled flick.

This marks the first time all three have featured in a Jurassic Park film since the original, with Neill and Dern having previously appeared in Jurassic Park III and Goldblum making a small cameo in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. All three are said to have substantial roles in the new film.

Dern and Goldblum appear particularly excited about the reunion, with both taking to Instagram to express their joy at being cast in the Jurassic World 3.

While the plot for the film is being kept under wraps, we do know Trevorrow will direct from a script co-written with Emily Carmichael (Pacific Rim Uprising). Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will also star alongside the returning cast with the film set for release on June 11, 2021.

Until then check out the one-off Trevorrow directed Jurassic World short film Battle At Big Rock.
