Renowned sculptor Jacek Jarnuszkiewicz in collaboration with Montreal-based architects Marie-Claude Hamelin and Loukas Yiacouvakis from YH2 have constructed this angular forest home in Quebec’s Bolton-Est region.

Situated above Lake Trousers the house is nestled amongst lush pine forest and was completed in halves before being cohesively brought together via an open floor plan.

The minimal interior and natural exterior are designed to seamlessly transition from one to the other, with the final top floor opening up to a large terrace at canopy level. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows welcome warm light into every corner of the house, and during the summer months, add a touch of green to the home’s naturally-toned materials.
