The Keanu Reeves resurgence continues at Lido Cinemas this month with the boutique theatre announcing a nine-week Kenau-a-thon.
Fresh from the success of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Lido has decided there’s no better time to honour the films of the great man. Celebrating everything Keanu, the two-month film festival will delve deep into the actor’s filmography and showcase a wide selection of films demonstrating the charismatic lead man’s acting abilities. Yes, he can act!
The event kicks off this week with stoner classic Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, followed by a new film screening every Friday night at 9 PM between October 18th and December 13th. The other films featured in chronological order are indie drama My Own Private Idaho, cult heist flick Point Break, the criminally underrated Bram Stoker’s Dracula, action masterpiece Speed, sci-fi favourite The Matrix, comic book adaptation Constantine, romantic drama The Lake House and action revenge franchise John Wick.
