In case you forgot that the biggest names in music are now obsessed with surprise album drops, Drake has reminded us all of the trend by revealing his seventh studio album Honestly, Nervermind. The new Drake album is set to drop in just a few hours, with the megastar promising a midnight (Eastern Daylight Time) release via an Instagram post. Details for Drake Honestly, Nevermind are scarce beyond that, but that hasn’t stopped the internet from buzzing with speculation about what the man has in store.

If the prospect of new Drake music isn’t that exciting to you anymore, speculating about the Honestly, Nevermind features will. Most notably, it seems Kanye West was quick to like Drake’s Instagram post (don’t worry, we’re not turning into Daily Mail) which has a few media outlets speculating that Yeezy could be somehow involved in the project. This would make sense considering it was just last December that Kanye invited Drake to appear alongside him at the Amazon Prime exclusive Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert.

It also seems DJ Khaled might be involved in some capacity, seeing as the loud-mouthed producer has flooded his personal Instagram with photos of the album, dedicating at least three consecutive posts to Honestly, Nevermind followed by a celebratory video in which he encourages everyone to celebrate Drake’s new album by making a spritzer.

Aside from the album art, we know next to nothing about Drake Honestly, Nevermind. But if you are desperate for more information before the album drops, Drizzy will be appearing on the premiere episode of his SiriusXM radio show, titled ‘Table For One,’ just an hour before the album’s release.

Considering this year has so far been a bit thin with quality hip-hop releases, with the exception of Vince Staples, Pusha T and Kanye West, Drake’s new album should be a welcome drop for anyone looking for a bunch of new tunes to ride with this weekend.
