If a packed dance festival with a strong lineup of house music has you salivating at the thought, then you’re not alone. For the past two years, Australia’s youth has copped a perfect storm – both literally and metaphorically – with one-in-a-hundred year weather events finding a way to torpedo any morale left in the wake of a global pandemic. Though if there was ever a light at the end of the tunnel, it might just be the return of Sydney’s humble Harbourlife festival.

Forget the six-hour bus lines, the lacklustre headlines, and the general disaster zone we’ve seen in recent weeks – Harbourlife is quite possibly the only music-filled day out on the east coast that delivers on the good times without the headache.

For 2022 the masked-up Claptone is sharing headline duties with British producer Hot Since 82, towed in by local boy Cassian who has been making some serious waves in the global house music world these past few years. They’ll be supported by the likes of Billy Zane, Franky Wah, J.Worra, Jaded and Stacie Fields.

Best of all (if you’re not already familiar) Harbourlife is perched on one of the most prized pieces of real estate in the country, taking over the iconic stretch of land next to Mrs Macquarie’s Chair. Dozens of boats will park up along the foreshore to join the revellers well into the evening, and the sun sets behind the Opera House to make it the most coveted ticket in town on Saturday, November 19.
