John Mayer Covers Drake’s ‘Passionfruit’ Live

We’ve come across some pretty good Drake covers in the past. There was Florence and the Machine’s cover of ‘Take Care’:

and Alessia Cara’s cover of ‘Hotline Bling’:

There’s a new favourite to add to the list now, with this recent video of John Mayer covering Drake’s latest hit, ‘Passionfruit’ live in Amsterdam. Drake had recently cancelled a number of performances at the Ziggo Dome Mayer is performing at – maybe this a little compensation? Maybe he’s just taking the piss.

Whatever the reason, this stripped down, acoustic version of Drake’s number 1 hit is a winner.
