Itโs been 10 years since Daft Punk released their very final album with Random Access Memories, which is best remembered for the hit single โGet Luckyโ with Pharrell Williams. Since then, itโs been incredibly hard to get around any new music from the famously eccentric producers but evidently, the duo still has plenty of unreleased music, a stack from which a total of nine never-heard-before songs has been taken.
With the re-release of the Grammy-winning Random Access Memories now available, Daft Punk fans are being spoilt with what is almost a full albumโs worth of unreleased songs from the French musicians. Theyโre all found on a special expanded edition of Daft Punkโs fourth studio album, bringing the projectโs runtime to a total of 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Billed as the very last Daft Punk song, โInfinity Repeating (2013 demo)โ is one of the more notable of the newly released songs. Daft Punk even released a short music video for it alongside The Strokesโ frontman Julian Casablancas who provides the songโs vocals. The other new Daft Punk material includes the recently-released singles โGLBTM (Studio Outtakes) and โThe Writing of Fragments of Time,โ as well as highlights like โHorizon Overtureโ and โGL (Early Take)โ.
