New Year, new whisky. Come January 1st, let us prescribe the scrumptious Scotch whiskies from Benriach to kick off the calendar in 2022. And we’re doing it with an exclusive whisky tasting right here in Sydney later this month.

How exclusive, you might be thinking? On Thursday, January 20th, just eight lucky BH readers (and their guests) will join our team and Benriach’s brand ambassador for an intimate and immersive single malt Scotch whisky tasting courtesy of Benriach Distillery in Sydney.

One of the most storied and celebrated distilleries from Speyside, Benriach has been honing its craft since 1898, and since becoming independent in 2004, has soared to the top of every man’s home bar wishlist.

Global Whisky Distiller of the Year (2015), Best Rare Speyside (2007), and enough gold and silver medals to fill the poolroom are just the beginning. The list could go on, but it was in 2014 that Jim Murray’s summarisation of the single malts from Benriach, GlenDronach and Glenglassaugh were called “perfection”, “faultless” and “astounding” in his Whisky Bible from the same year. Two of which took home top awards in the aged single cask categories.
