Merivale Is Doing 49% Off All Drinks At Allianz Stadium This Weekend

Heading to the behemoth new Allianz Stadium in Sydney this weekend to see the Rabbitohs and the Roosters duke it out, or Wallabies clash with Springboks for the Rugby Championship? Better make it a big one. And if you’ve got a mate sitting it out, this announcement should help you rope him in. Merivale, which operates all 64 hospitality venues – including Totti’s and Ms G’s – at the $828 million stadium is, for two days only, offering 49% off all drinks. Cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, champagne, soft drinks and juice – if you can sip it, it’s almost half price.

First, why 49%? That’s the maximum amount any business can legally discount alcohol as per NSW state law. And Merivale has run promos like this before across the hospitality group’s numerous venues, but not before has the hefty promo clashed with two major sporting events, in Sydney’s newest major sporting stadium.

On each day, Merviale’s ‘49% off all drinks’ promo will form a two-hour happy hour across all 64 Merivale-run venues in the sporting arena. That includes, as above, Totti’s Pasta Bar and Ms G’s Noodles & Dumplings. But also Jimmy’s Falafel, member’s club fine-diner Bert’s and more.

That gives you and the lads a lot to work through on either Friday, September 2 (Rabbitohs vs Roosters) or Saturday, September 3 (Wallabies vs Springboks). You could grab some of those sweet El Loco Tacos’ Margarita Seltzers, sip on on Ata Rangi pinot noir from Totti’s, or scoop up some of that rose spritz from Ms G’s. Or you can just head to the standard bar and down some cold ones during the big games.

Let’s not get too wild here though. The 49% off all drinks discount only applies to drinks up to the value of $200. You won’t be reaching too high up the shelf if you want to save some cash. Although it’s not like anyone sips on anything too pricey at a sporting game anyway.
