Toyota will begin taking online orders for the new Toyota Supra on June 19 and after a solid year of speculation, have finally confirmed local pricing for a base GT model and a top spec GTS model.

The Toyota Supra, we first glimpsed as a Gazoo Racing concept at Geneva last year, and then tested at the Circuit of Jarama in Madrid late last year, will start at $84,900 for the GT and $94,900 for the GTS, plus on-road costs when it lands in the second half of the year.

On top of the 250kW BMW sourced powerplant, which both variants share, the Toyota Supra GT gets an arsenal of solid standard features, which you can dive into on their site. The GTS adds a head-up display, 19-inch forged alloy wheels, upgraded brakes and a JBL premium audio system, as well as access to additional upholstery and paint options.

Seven standard colours will be offered, each named after a famous race track – Fuji White, Suzuka Silver, Goodwood Grey, Monza Red, Silverstone Yellow, Le Mans Blue and Bathurst Black. Those jumping into the GTS can also option Nurburg Matte Grey for an extra $2,500.

Toyota will ask for a refundable $1,000 to register online before a random ballot picks 100 lucky folks to select their variant and colour, then a $4,000 deposit to secure your order.

Only 300 units will arrive in Australia in the first year of production. Head to Toyota.com.au to get in line.
