Valuation and strategy consulting firm Brand Finance has revealed the most valuable fashion brands in the world for 2019. The report details the financial improvements (or failures, in some cases) of 50 of the world’s richest companies. The top 10 has some mostly familiar faces, with some steady economic improvement.
It’s no surprise that Nike has once again topped the list while Gucci – although up 19% – has plummeted eight spots over the course of just one year. According to Brand Finance, the steady economic growth of these companies is due to a rising middle class in areas such as China, where luxury goods are seen as a sign of wealth and status.
