For motorsports fans, next week is shaping up to be one of the most hotly anticipated of the year. The 2026 Formula 1 season is set to kick off with the Australian Grand Prix, and to celebrate, F1’s Official Timekeeper has pulled the cover off the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 45MM x Formula 1 Edition.
Essentially, it’s a blacked-out titanium bruiser that brings the Grand Prix circus straight to your wrist, and unsurprisingly, it’s properly kitted out with new F1-centric features.

The headline is a dynamic “Race Track” watch face that adapts to each of the 24 Grand Prix races, proudly flying the national flag of each host country, and showing a circuit outline, the race name, and even a moving dot that tracks the seconds like a car chasing pole position.
Then there’s the dedicated Formula 1® app built straight into the watch. There, you’ll find a calendar, race times, results, and driver standings, all of which have been fed directly from the FIA. Add pit-radio-inspired notifications, animated bezel markings for practice and qualifying sessions, and suddenly you’re not just watching the race, you’re living every one of them.

Hardware-wise, it’s a more familiar story, cased in brushed Grade 2 titanium with black DLC coating, red accents, and two interchangeable straps: one leather with a carbon effect and one in a sporty stretch textile. Vibrant, technical, and perfectly integrated to how modern F1 is raced.
The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 45MM x Formula 1 Edition is set to become available from the brand’s online store from March 3 (for 48 hours only), with a local RRP of $3,850.
