At most Airbnb stays, you’ll be happy if you arrive to find some milk in the fridge and coffee on the bench. At the Gold Coast Airbnb of Aussie Olympic BMX champion Logan Martin, however, you’re getting a helluva lot more because his joint has its own state-of-the-art backyard skatepark. Early to bed, early to shred.

In partnership with Airbnb, Martin is offering up his place for just $16 a night this month, and it might be the best money you spend all year. Aside from the fact that you’re probably only getting a pint of craft beer for that kind of money these days, Martin will be there for one of the three days you can stay, offering a demonstration of his world-class BMX riding skills.

Believe it or not, it wasn’t till the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 that BMX riding was included as a sport, which makes Martin’s achievement as the first-ever gold medal winner all the more special. With the 2024 Paris Olympic Games just around the corner, it makes the opportunity to visit Martin’s home all the more special.

“I stay in Airbnbs all over the world, and love how these stays have given my family and me a unique way to explore amazing places and really authentically connect with new communities,” explains Martin.

“As a Host, I will bring a unique and adventure-fuelled experience to my guests so they can create exciting lifelong memories – including a very special one-on-one BMX experience in my world-class skatepark in my backyard.”

Bookings for this Aussie Olympic AirBnB open on September 12th at 9 AM (AEST), so if you’re keen to enjoy a trip to the sunny Gold Coast and love your BMX, don’t hesitate.
