FIFA Street Is Back With A Bang For FIFA 20

— Updated on 11 January 2022

The world’s biggest gaming expo, E3, officially kicks off tomorrow, but game developers have been previewing new titles and software all weekend. One of the companies to have already made a splash is Electronic Arts, who’ve got football fans in a frenzy after unveiling the trailer for FIFA 20.

After the past few editions of the famed football simulation have all been more of the same, EA has gone all out this year by incorporating elements of the classic FIFA Street title into FIFA 20. Now known as VOLTA Football, this new game mode blends the fun of street football with the realism of standard FIFA, allowing fans the opportunity to play street ball in the favelas of Brazil to the rooftops of Tokyo.

VOLTA Football will have a career mode, multiplayer options and online modes similar to FIFA’s Ultimate Team. This new game mode also offers a slew of new customisable features, with the ability to play 3v3, 4v4 and 5v5 on different pitches and courts across the world. You can also fully customise your players’ kit.

Along with VOLTA Football, FIFA 20 will include all the usual features we’ve come to love, including player and manager career modes, an original storyline path and all the major football leagues, including Australia’s own A-League.

FIFA 20 is scheduled for release on September 27 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. You can pre-order the game here.
