New Hip-Hop Festival ‘DRIP World’ Coming To Australia This Spring

— Updated on 14 June 2022

As Australia’s love for hip-hop continues to grow, its fans are being rewarded with the announcement of DRIP World, the latest rap festival set to take the country by storm.

Taking place in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth over a two-week period this Spring, DRIP World will be Australia’s largest contemporary urban festival of all time, with more than 90,000 tickets available across the four dates.

The exciting new festival will run for 10 hours and include some of the biggest names in the hip-hop game, including 12 international acts – one being a Grammy Award winner – along with the best local talent Australia has to offer. While no artists have been officially announced, the Internet is already speculating who might feature, with the likes of Lil Skies, Chance The Rapper and Lil Nas X all being touted as possibilities.

“DRIP World isn’t just a festival, it’s a culture,” Lui explained. “It’s the hottest contemporary urban ticket in town – and as it’s our first event, we’re keen to bring fans on the journey with us, to help make it the event we all want it to be in our debut year. This year’s line-up is a ten hour plus party of rap, trap and hip hop. We’re all about turning the fun button up a notch, having locked in the freshest artists we cannot wait to reveal some of the names performing as part of the line-up.”

The lineup and ticket prices will be announced on Wednesday, June 5 with tickets set to go on sale from June 11.
