Now known for one of the best Boiler Room sets in recent memory, British record producer and multi-instrumentalist, Fred Again has more than likely soundtracked every house party you’ve been to this year. The newly crowned Prince of genre-hopping EDM bangers has that plus plenty of hype off the back of his Actual Life trilogy to fuel his very first Australian tour, taking place next year. He’ll serve as one of the big-ticket acts at St Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2023 in addition to some freshly announced Fred Again sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.

While Fred Again will be surrounded by various other acts at Laneway Festival, including headliners Haim and Joji, the intimate sideshows will be the wisest choice to witness the man do god’s work from behind the decks. You won’t have to navigate the throngs of hipsters heading to hypebeasts like 100 gecs (if you haven’t heard of them, I envy you) for starters.

No doubt the 29-year-old musician will be a clear highlight for anyone wanting a bit of a dance to help kick off the first few months of the new year. He’ll be taking over The Forum in Melbourne on February 1 and then moving on to Sydney with a show at Enmore Theatre on February 7. They’re both weekdays, by the way, so you might want to schedule a WFH the following day.

Given his popularity, there’s little doubt this brief Fred Again Sydney and Melbourne shows will be an easy sell-out for presenters Handsome Tours.

Fred Again is another cog in the ongoing wheel of live music rolling out in the first few months of next year. He’s joined by already confirmed tours from:

Fred Again Australia Tour Dates 2023

Wednesday, February 1 – The Forum, Melbourne
Tuesday, February 7 – Enmore Theatre, Sydney

Also playing at St Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2023.

Tickets are on sale from Friday, November 18, but there is a promoter pre-sale that kicks off at 10 am on Thursday, November 17 for anyone who wants to guarantee tickets early.
