Spotify Wrapped 2020 Reveals The Most Streamed Artists & Podcasts

As the year approaches its long-awaited end, Spotify Wrapped 2020 has officially been released, breaking down our collective audio consumption. From most-streamed artists, songs, albums, podcasts, and even podcast genres – there’s not a whole lot of surprises here. In fact… nothing in the list below should really surprise you given how the entrants generally chart where it matters (eg. Bad Bunny and J Balvin have a strong Latin following, every parent on Earth delegating their duties to The Wiggles).

Ubiquitous names like The Weeknd, Drake, Harry Styles, and queen of our hearts – Dua Lipa – made a strong showing in both international and domestic stream queues. The polarising Tones And I impressively represented the homefront as the second most-streamed song of this year – certainly no small feat considering at one point, the Victorian local just another uploader on Triple J Unearthed. And yes, DMT enthusiast and advocate for primate rights – Joe Rogan – comfortably retained his position as the #1 podcast around the world (though only placed fourth in Australia).
