20 years after the release of their multi-platinum debut album Hot Fuss, American rock royalty The Killers are returning to Australia for a limited run of shows across the country — slated to begin on November 30th.
The Las Vegas-based stadium rockers, behind such longstanding millennial faves as ‘Mr. Brightside’ and ‘Somebody Told Me’, are working from a two-setlist itinerary for the duration of their ‘Live in Australia’ tour.
In Townsville, Sydney and Brisbane, fans can expect a medley tracks from Rebel Diamonds: the compilation album released in 2023 that includes all the usual belters from ‘Sam’s Town’, ‘Day & Age’, and one-off single ‘boy’.
The real gold dust, however, has been saved for primetime slots in Sydney and Melbourne (on December 7th and December 13th respectively). Here, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their rise to fame, the band will be playing a show composed entirely of the Hot Fuss track listing: including ‘Smile Like You Mean It’, ‘Somebody Told Me’, and of course…’Mr. Brightside’.
