TAG Heuer has linked up with luxury customisers, Bamford Watch Department, for the cleanest timepiece collaboration. A bespoke model encased in carbon featuring an original calibre 11 from 1969. One look at this dual effort is all it takes to have the word “striking” seared into your mind, and hanging on the edge of your lips. And striking it is.

This latest iteration has been constructed with the 39mm square dial and TAG Heuer Monaco’s winning left crown. Additionally, the George Bamford imprint has been engraved on the dial, and the bottom of the box being signed “Monaco Bamford”. The entire piece will be “embellished” with an utterly decadent black alligator leather strap.

“I like that it does nothing to threaten the existence or legitimacy of the more classic Monaco while still managing to take the Monaco in a new direction that maintains its connection with motorsports,” says noted aficionado, James Stacey.

And according to TAG Heuer itself, this watch stands to be “… the ultimate blend of TAG Heuer’s watchmaking technique and expertise with the boldness of Bamford Watch Department…”. The TAG Heuer Monaco Bamford: a symbol of “… the brand’s pioneering spirit…”.

The TAG Heuer Bamford Monaco is currently only available for pre-order purchase at a pricepoint of $8,100 USD. Deliveries are expected to arrive at the end of August.
