Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink deals, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.
In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got best-in-class tequila cocktails, grungy Birkenstock collabs, and plenty more.
1800 GuachiMonton, World’s Best Bartenders, Tacos…

Last night El Primo Sanchez turned up the heat. As a part of the Maybe Cocktail Festival, the taqueria flew in bartenders from Alquímico (Cartagena), recently named World’s Best Bar. Serving up a range of bespoke cocktails made with 1800 tequilas, including the upcoming prestige release, GuachiMonton Añejo. A whisky-like barrel-aged tequila, it went particularly well with the tuna tostadas (pre dance floor).
Maybe Cocktail Fest will continue at El Primo Sanchez for the rest of the weekend, with a new guest bartender each night, starting at 8pm tonight. For those further afield, Maybe Sammy, Alquimico, and 1800 have crafted a limited-edition ready-to-pour bottle cocktail: with 1800 Reposado Tequila, mango vermouth, and macerated hops. At $20 for 100ml ready-to-pour bottle cocktail, it’s available online and in-store from the Maybe Sammy retail space below El Primo Sanchez.
Birkenstock 1774 x Song For The Mute

As Birkenstock 1774’s first Aussie collab, you knew they had to make a bang. Partnering with fashion darling Song For The Mute, they hit the brief four times over. Crafting four “character” shoes: The Artist (paint-splattered London), The Rebel (a ponyhair Paris), The Gardener (a grass-insoled Birki 2.0), and The Collector (a leather Amsterdam), each is an envelope-pushing evolution of the familiar Birkenstock silhouettes.
Available on Birkenstock and Song For The Mute stores, these will sell out faster than the proverbial.
3 for 2 Nights at IHG Resorts

Take an extra day off with across IHG resorts with their “One More Day” scheme. At over 70 Asia Pacific IHG resorts and Hotels, for every three night stay you’ll enjoy the third on the house, sipping Tommy’s to your heart’s content. That includes resorts like the InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef, InterContinental Sorrento, Noku Maldives and InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau, and InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa. TLDR; fresh seafood, icy beers, and bath-warm water for an extra day.
Offer’s eligible for IHG One Rewards members, and you must book before 15 May, all the info you need is below.
Sabalenka’s New Weapon

To mark a 20 year anniversary, Wilson have released their newest Blade racket: the Blade V10. Built for ultimate control and responsive impact for aggressive playing styles, it’ll be used by players like Sabalenka (as featured in the campaign).
It’s the lightest, most consistent Blade to date, and a real stand out in its green colourway. With TurboTaper technology (i.e. more power), it’s showing up in the hands of four of the top ten women (Sabalenka, Anisimova, Andreeva, and Mboko), and an obvious choice to level up your serve.
All Day Goods Maldon Salt Petty Knife

Allday Goods specialises in recycled plastic handles for functionally (and visually) brilliant knives. This one, made out of recycled Maldon Salt tubs, is a great addition to your knife rack, which is probably sitting next to a tub of the good stuff already!
Because you can never have enough knives.
Live By The Creed

British niche perfumery brand Creed (ever heard of Aventus?) will open its first Melbourne store in the Royal Arcade tomorrow. Not only is it beautifully designed, shoppers can also get bespoke services including perfume engraving and ribbon personalisation.
Peruse the shelves for something special (my personal suggestion being Royal Water), or the newest release Wild Vetiver. As an added bonus, if you spend $489 this weekend you’ll also get a discovery bag (while stocks last).
Royal Arcade, Shop 27, 331-339 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000
