Outgoing Qantas CEO Alan Joyce and husband Shane Lloyd have just listed their harbourside Sydney mansion… despite having never even moved in.

The trophy home located at 12 Musgrave Street, Mosman, arrives on the market with a $20 million asking price less than a year after the couple snapped it up it for $19 million.

This development comes to light shortly after Joyce and Lloyd doubled the size of their CBD penthouse by taking an entire floor; something which was only possible following their neighbours’ decision to sell and vacate the premise.

“We were unexpectedly given the opportunity to secure the other half-level apartment where we live currently,” Alan Joyce told The Sydney Morning Herald.

“This meant we wouldn’t be moving to Mosman. We certainly wish the next owners of 12 Musgrave Street all the best in what is a stunning home.”

Boasting four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two off-street car parks, the Mosman mansion in question. enjoyed a significant facelift in 2015 under the guidance of Seattle-based architect Paul Moon.

A little more recently, it underwent further upgrades at the hands of Sydney design firm Levine Vokaberg — a full furnishing with custom furniture. In other words, as far as ready-to-move-into homes go, this is certainly one of the better ones.

This tri-level masterpiece also comes with some of the finest water views of Sydney Harbour that you’ll likely ever see, a private jetty for boat access, private gym, library, home office, plus the obligatory custom-built wine cellar.

At the front and rear of the residence respectively, the new owner will get to enjoy a courtyard and covered alfresco dining area, while landscaped gardens cascade down two steps towards the water’s edge.

12 Musgrave Street, Mosman is being represented by the team at Ray White Lower North Shore who, as we alluded to above, are currently seeking expressions of interest with a target price of $20 million — check out the gallery below.
