Over a decade ago, the Motorola Razr reigned supreme. The flip-phone wonder was the king of the early 2000s. Sadly, it faded into obscurity as a lost relic of nostalgia – but that’s all about to be corrected…

The iconic mobile phone is making its triumphant return to the modern era with the all-new foldable Motorola Razr 2019 smartphone. Where other brands like Samsung have chosen to fold vertical, Motorola has opted to go horizontal as to mimic that satisfying flip and snap we all knew and loved.

Flexed out to the max, it features a 6.2-inch OLED screen. As for when it’s closed up, there’s a smaller 2.7-inch ‘quick view’ screen for those more idle moments to simply display notifications, time and location, even allowing for camera use. And yes, the design has preserved that equally iconic “chin” that was synonymous with the Razr back in the day. In terms of OS, the 2019 Motorola Razr will run on Android 9 Pie.

Currently, there is no official word on when the Motorola Razr will be available domestically. All we know at this point is that it will be sometime in 2020, as well as the fact that it comes with a price tag of US$1,499 over in the States. So don’t expect it to be that much cheaper when it finally arrives here.

Be sure to keep an eye out for it.
