Two Italian legendary automakers have combined for the second time on a very special run of limited-edition motorcycles with the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini sports bike (inspired by the coveted Lamborghini Huracán STO). There will be two versions of the racing bike created: 630 units to be produced of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, while another 63 units will be produced in a different spec called the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Speciale Clienti that are exclusively available to customers of Lamborghini.

This latest collaboration from the two giants of Italian motorsports follows the 2020 launch of the Ducati Diavel 1260, which took inspiration from the classic Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 to create an undeniably good-looking matte dark green bike. It’s understood this original collaboration bike that cost US$31,995 (AU$49,152) sold out in just a matter of weeks, giving both Ducati and Lamborghini a perfect reason to continue their partnership in 2022.

Unfortunately for fans of this latest run of limited edition motorcycles, all 693 units have already sold out after being snapped up by enthusiasts in just a few short hours. Perhaps they were folks who missed out on the first limited edition, or simply those who fell in love with the “Citrea Green” and “Dac Orange” colour scheme chosen for this collaboration.

What can new owners expect from their new superbike? The Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini uses the Panigale V4 S ’23 as its technical base, with elements that make the bike feel more “Lamborghini,” including an Akrapovic titanium exhaust silencer, specially-made forged wheels and even a fender design inspired by the Huracán STO’s “cofango” air ducts. For the Speciale Clienti edition, clients will be able to select livery, rims and brake callipers in colours that match their Lamborghini.

While both editions of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini have already sold out, its swift success hopefully means there will be more collaborations between the two Italian automakers. The Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini arrived with an RRP of US$83,000 (AU$128,587), while the Speciale Clienti edition cost buyers US$68,000 (AU$105,348).
