These days, nothing is immune from inflation. Not even our beloved streaming services. Thankfully, we can rely on thrifty battlers such as the blokes behind Heaps About Nothing, who’ve recently stumbled across the following “hack” to cop a heavily discounted Kayo subscription.

As of April 2nd, 2023, the monthly fee for Kayo Basic will increase from $27.99 to $30, bringing the annual cost to a nice ‘n’ round $360. Heftier than ideal, sure, but here’s the workaround.

While most AFL clubs provide digital memberships at fairly competitive prices, as Heaps About Nothing have pointed out, the cheapest one currently available can be found on the Western Bulldogs website.

All you have to do is:

  1. Head over to the landing page here
  2. Sign up for their 12-month Kayo Basic offer (not the monthly one) priced at just $220
  3. Wait for the digital code to hit your inbox
  4. Then kick back and relish in the fact you’ve saved a considerable $140

Bonus: regardless of whether you’re a genuine Western Bulldogs fan or not, in addition to the discounted Kayo Basic subscription, this “hack” also scores you a 2023 Team Membership Pack (barcoded membership card, scarf, lanyard, bumper sticker), plus 10% off the Doggies’ shop.

Great bloody value.
