He’s one of the most enigmatic men in the history of sport, and now John Daly is getting his own ESPN 30 for 30 documentary. Chronicling the rise and fall of the man they like to call ‘Wild Thing’, the trailer for Hit it Hard looks like it might be one of the best 30 for 30’s ever produced. And for good reasons – Daly’s life thus far – rapid fame and fortune followed by drugs, alcohol, gambling, multiple wives and everything in between – is pretty much tailor made for a documentary.
