Parenthood is expensive. But if you can afford the 18-year (minimum) commitment, you might as well go hard in the paint. Which is what we can only assume is the underlying philosophy behind the Dior Baby Stroller.

For the meagre investment of just US$4,800 (AU$6,650), your spawn can achieve elite status with an incredibly chic, designer kid carrier, created in partnership with renowned baby brand Inglesina, and assembled in Italy.

From the wheels which display the classic brand logo and the adjustable leather handlebar engraved with “Dior”; to the canvas elements and basket rendered in the iconic Toile de Jouy print (“updated by Cordelia de Castellane in navy blue tones for a contemporary look”)… every detail about this buggy is outrageously luxe.

Aside from plenty of style points, other notable features of the Dior Baby Stroller are as follows:

  • Reversible seat
  • Adjustable back
  • Anti-UV integral canvas hood (removable) w/ ventilation system
  • Wheel locking system
  • Full rain cover
  • Cup holder

“This unique piece combines excellence, functionality, and timeless elegance,” notes the French Maison.

“Compact and practical for any occasion. The exceptional and versatile creation can be quickly, easily, and safely folded or unfolded.”

For the time being, it appears as though the Dior Baby Stroller is only available to the US. For those of you keen on it anyway, feel free to keep an eye out for when it hits out sunburnt shores – and check out the additional details provided via the link below.
