If you’re a fellow LEGO lover than you’ll be tickled pink with this amazing creation from McLaren. The British automobile company recently teamed with Leg to build a life size replica of its Senna hypercar.
The reconstructed Senna is made from 467,854 individual bricks and took 42 specialists almost 4,935 hours from design and development, to the finished product. The grey, black and orange vehicle contains the same badges, carbon fibre driver’s seat, steering wheel, pedals and bespoke Pirelli tires found in a production Senna.
The car weighs an incredible tonne and a half, 500kgs more than the actual Senna itself. Although the Senna can’t be driven, it does include a push button that simulates the roar of the engine along with removable doors so people can sit inside.
The real life version of the Senna is named after legendary F1 driver Ayrton Senna and is the lightest and fastest street legal vehicle ever built by McLaren. It boasts a top speed of 304kmh and can go from zero to 200km/h in 6.8 seconds.
While this full size replica isn’t up for grabs and your chances of owning an actual Senna are next to none (a 2019 McLaren Senna in Amethyst Black just sold for $2.2 million), car lovers can purchase a smaller version complete with Ayrton Senna figure for just $22.99.
