No matter if you’ve been thinking about your first tattoo, or you’ve got a notch in the proverbial full sleeve that needs filling, the Australian Tattoo Expo in Sydney next month is the perfect spot to find inspiration and artists alike. Taking place over two days from March 15th — 17th, it’s set to be a vibrant celebration of body art with hundreds of elite tattoo artists from around the world showcasing their skills.

The expo offers a unique platform for attendees to immerse themselves in the world of tattoos and body art, including the opportunity to get tattooed by renowned artists, understand today’s trends, and discover all-new techniques.

Whether you’ve got a couple of pre-booked sessions with your favourite artists or you’ll just make a couple of spontaneous decisions, there’s a lot on offer at the Australian Tattoo Expo Sydney for body art enthusiasts.

“We’ve witnessed a significant societal transformation in our industry over the last decade, with the growing embrace of tattooing within mainstream culture, there’s a heightened appreciation for the skill, dedication, and artistry that underlie this craft,” said Kevin Mack, CEO of the event.

“Our aim has always been to create something meaningful for everyone. Whether you’re an aspiring artist, a seasoned pro, or just someone with a deep appreciation for tattoo art, our event is designed to be a welcoming space where you can find your place and connect with like-minded people.”

For the competitive tattoo artists out there, emotions will be running high at the CTAA Tattoo Competition Series, where artists vie for the “Tattoo of the Show” title and a share of the $60,000 prize pool. Additionally, the event will feature the hilarious “Shittest Tattoo Competition,” which promises a look at some of the worst ink illustrations ever gunned.

The show promises artists from Japan, Taiwan, China, South Korea, the USA, Indonesia, Sweden, Australia, and beyond. With its eclectic mix of artistry, competition, and community, the Australian Tattoo Expo in Sydney is poised to be an unforgettable experience for all who attend.
