It’s for good reason that Franck Muller is known as the “Master of Complications,” and the celebrated watchmaker (loved by Elton John) follows up the diamond-encrusted Franck Muller Vanguard Slim Skeleton with its latest new collection. The Franck Muller Long Island lineup sees the addition of three new complicated references in 2024, each of which are variations on a green and black theme that packs plenty of presence on the wrist.

Highlights From The Franck Muller Long Island Collection In 2024

Franck Muller Long Island Evolution Giga Tourbillon

Franck Muller Long Island 2024

The Franck Muller Long Island collection first made its debut nearly two and a half decades ago, and in 2024, the range sees an update to its strong, rectangular design. The short lugs and refined curvature of the case have been modernised to further emphasise its contours, with this Evolution Giga Tourbillon boasting an oversized and impossible-to-miss 20mm tourbillon.

With the majority of the dial consumed by the captivating tourbillon you’ll be forgiven for missing the hands at 12 o’clock, tucked in beneath the power reserve indicator. If you wanted Franck Muller to do what Franck Muller does best, this is it. Price: $370,600

Franck Muller Long Island Evolution Master Jumper

The updated case profile continues with the Evolution Master Jumper, offering a storied complication and classical design thanks to its digital-style display with elegantly seriffed numerals. The topmost aperture is where you’ll read the hours, with the exposed wheels in the centre of the dial communicating the minutes.

It would be fair to assume the window at 6 o’clock is for the seconds, however it is a jumping date of the month complication. One for the more traditionally inspired horological enthusiast. Price: $157,600

Franck Muller Long Island Evolution 7 Days Power Reserve

Last, but certainly not least in 2024 is the Franck Muller Long Island Evolution 7 Days Power Reserve, which is less complex than its siblings, but does what it says on the label perfectly. While it only offers the hours, minutes, and seconds, the full week of power reserve delivered by the movement is the star of the show here. Featuring heavily luminous Arabic numerals for straightforward time-telling no matter the lighting conditions, this is a timepiece with a lot more than meets the eye. Price: $72,000
