Australia’s 50 Best Wine Bars & Spots Revealed

Established by the Young Gun of Wine founder – Rory Kent – the Wineslinger Awards’ Top 50 Venues list brings attention to the country’s very best wine bars and spots. Celebrating service, creativity, and excellence, over 100 industry figures – winemakers, sommeliers, hospitality professions, journalists – venture across the lands to determine who the real vino players are.

This year’s edition had a strong showing from both New South Wales and Victoria, who earned recognition for 14 and 12 venues respectively. In terms of the list as a whole, over half of the locations named have previously been acknowledged as primo for vino. There are, however, 20 debut entries alongside the longstanding favourites.
