Box To Box Films isn’t half-assing its mission to create a hit docuseries for just about every major sport. With Formula 1: Drive To Survive under the belt, plus equivalents for both the PGA Tour and professional tennis currently on the burner, it’s now tackling the world of surfing. But unwilling to let Netflix have all the fun, this upcoming release – titled Make Or Break – has been snagged by Apple TV+, which has already been greenlit for season 2 ahead of its premiere.

Exploring the aspirations, challenges, accomplishments, and personal lives of the surfers who compete to keep their place in the 2021 Men’s and Women’s WSL Championship Tour, similar to the other properties within Box To Box Film’s content stable, the seven-part affair provides audiences with unprecedented access to surfing’s elite. Never-before-seen interviews and all.
