Despite all the hype surrounding HBO’s Wahl Street in the lead up to its release, the documentary series detailing the delicate juggling act of being Mark Wahlberg came and went without much fanfare; sans a solitary Critics Choice Real TV Awards Best Business show nomination (lol). It was to the point a good majority of us weren’t even sure if Wahl Street season 2 was on the cards. Yet here we are. With solid confirmation, a release date, and first trailer.

“As the world attempts to recover in the new ‘pandemic normal,’ Mark is more determined than ever to bring his businesses back, taking new and even bigger risks, as he continues to inspire other entrepreneurs,” reads the official description of Wahl Street season 2.

“Facing new challenges both personally and professionally – including the passing of his beloved mother Alma and the physical pangs of his 50th milestone birthday – Mark juggles the demands of his A-list day job with his ever-growing business portfolio and puts his money and passion where his faith is into a new film project.”

Wahl Street season 2 has been produced by Unrealistic Ideas – a company founded by Wahlberg himself, Stephen Levinson, and Archie Gips. Wahlberg, Levinson, and Gips have also served as executive producers alongside Sarah Skibitzke and Tom Greenhut as co-executive producers.
