From Scott Morrison’s ‘Women’s Network’ logo to Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space rocket, girthy design is everywhere you look. The same can quite easily be said for a fresh design from the streetwear brand Richardson, whose incense burner slash ashtray does an impressive impression of the full mast without even trying.

Founded in 1998 by Andrew Richardson as an American-based clothing retailer and independent magazine, the brand has a legion of fans that enjoy its no-frills approach to contemporary streetwear. Richardson has also made a name for itself in more recent years thanks to collaborations with the likes of Converse, Rob Pruitt, the Public Housing Skate Team, and even the 2022 Tokyo Olympics.

As you’d expect from any streetwear brand worth its salt, Richardson also designs a number of lifestyle accessories, including tool bags, golf towels and even handcuffs in collaboration with Smith & Wesson. However, it’s the new Richardson incense burner that caught our eye (actually, nearly poked it out), as a hand-made ceramic object for the home that doubles as an ashtray for the lung bickie enthusiasts out there.

Produced in Mexico, Richardson’s phallic totems are available in your choice of black, green or white and arrive with the brand’s signature R Glyph logo emblem. Currently available on the Richardson online store, one of these (very) bad bois will set you back US$180 (AU$260) and is guaranteed to leave an impression on all your visiting friends and family. Just be glad that’s the only thing it’ll leave them with.
