Merivale Is Offering 49% Off Drinks For All Group Bookings In September

Every now and then, Merivale has popped up with a half-priced drinks offer, anchored around various ‘cultural’ moments in Sydney. Recently, the hospitality juggernaut spun its trademark offer for the Matildas semi-finale match, now they’re just doing it for the sake of good ol’ fashioned fun.

For most of September (1st to 28th), Merivale is celebrating spring by offering group bookings 49% off all drinks for the first hour of any booking. All you’d need to do is make a booking for at least eight guests at one of Merivale’s participating venues between the aforementioned dates. It’s really as simple as that.

Although there are a few caveats you’d need to take note of. According to an FAQ on Merivale’s website, the 49% discount only applies to a drink as long as it doesn’t cost more than $350. So you aren’t getting any super top-shelf drops here. If the drink costs over $351, you’ll be paying full RRP.

You also can’t use happy hour to stack the discount. The 49% off label effectively replaces all happy hour drinks for the aforementioned dates.

Participating Merivale venues include (but are not limited to): El Loco, Establishment Main Bar, Coogee Pavillion (ground floor), J&M, Charlie Parker’s, The Paddington Front Bar and Little Felix. Restaurants like Bar Totti’s and Fred’s aren’t on the list so you’ll have to contend with the group’s healthy stock of pubs and bars in both Sydney and Narooma.

When you rock up for your booking, all guests will be given a wristband that qualifies them for 49% off drinks for the first hour. After that, the discount will expire. And given this is a fairly generous offer from the group, you better believe staff will be diligent about it.
