Snoop Dogg & 19 Crimes Red Wine Finally Available In Australia

There’s a growing belief that Snoop Dogg completed the main story years ago and now spends his days undertaking every possible side quest, which is why none of us have raised an eyebrow when we spot him on the commentary panel for triple-A boxing events making wisecracks more entertaining than the actual fight; whipping up a mean feed with best friend/convicted felon Martha Stewart on television; or even during his cameo appearance in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run, of all movies. But when the Snoop Dogg x 19 Crimes red wine collaboration – Snoop Cali Red – was announced around this time last year, it certainly wasn’t something many of us had anticipated (or even thought possible).

Marking the first instance of a multi-year partnership between the West Coast hip-hop legend and the Treasury Wine Estate-owned brand, 19 Crimes’ first Californian wine represents a blend of the following:

• 65% Petite Syrah
• 30% Zinfandel
• 5% Merlot

Full and dense with strong black and blue fruit notes up front from the Petite Sirah, you’ll find it’s complemented by bright red, slightly candied fruit in the background from the Zinfandel, brought together with darkly toasted oak and subtly sweet finish.

“I’ve been a fan of this wine and I’m excited to unveil my Snoop Cali Red and share the experience with all my fans,” Snoop explained via press statement.

“It’s one of the most successful brands in the market, so I’m more than eager to bring this collaboration to the world.”

According to the D.O.G.G. himself, this drop is meant to be “sipped slow”, making it the perfect pairing for “throwing some slow-cooked ribs on the grill.”
