U-2 pilot and 1st Reconnaissance Squadron instructor, Ross Franquemont, recently ventured out into the stratospheres where the sky ends and space begins. 

Reaching altitudes of 70,000 feet in a U-2 Dragon Lady spy plane, the view is one that has been described as unparalleled. And to give us lowly civilians a glimpse of the high-flying life, Franquemont found the time to snap a few primo shots for your visual consumption.
