Not all automotive collaborations hit the spot, but the team at Aston Martin have been on an absolute tear recently. How on the heels of the eye-catching collaboration with Girard-Perregaux, the British-born supercar manufacturer has announced the Globe-Trotter x Aston Martin luggage link-up that combines craftsmanship with the practical necessities for anyone on the move.

In a tribute to the two brand’s equal commitment to both innovation and heritage, the AMF1 luggage collection arrives with no less than four different haulage options, with two aimed at the short-trip carry-on traveller and the other pair for the longer-haul journey. With your choice of either blacked-out or chrome-coloured hardware for each of the different sizes, the entire collection arrives in Aston Martin’s signature British racing green and features Globe-Trotter’s robust construction.

The body of each case is made from vulcanized fibreboard that’s the result of no less than 14 layers of zinc-bonded recycled paper, the interior will be kept dry if left in the rain thanks to a waterproof lining, while the leather securing straps are a nod to the luggage maker’s old-world approach to design. Every member of the collaborative collection arrives with a five-year warranty and is a limited edition of just 100 units, with prices ranging from $3,595 for the carry-on up to $4,496 for the check-in.
