First eyes on the Brooklyn store-opening box logo tee at a friends and family event before the official opening tomorrow, courtesy of Highsnobiety. Not dissimilar from last year’s Paris box logo tee, with a very similar font on the back, except this time it appears the store’s phone number has been used. The front sees what looks like a camouflage motif box logo. As usual, expect the resell on these to be insane.
It’s official. While rumours of a second NYC location for streetwear giant Supreme have been flying since May, when news broke of an unnamed brand eyeing a 3,000 sq. ft space across the Hudson in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the skater fashion staple has confirmed all details and even allowed a few preview shots of the new digs.
The new Brooklyn location will be the NYC brand’s second outpost in the big apple, following the original hub on Lafayette Street in SoHo that first opened back in 1994, and judging by early pictures, it’s got some genuine west coast flavour. Like Supreme’s LA store located on Fairfax Avenue, the store fit out features a skate bowl in the back reserved (strictly) for family and friends, with and open shop floor decorated with Mark Gonzales artwork often found in other locations.
Scheduled to open this Thursday, October 5th (in true Supreme fashion with new Thursday releases) the new location gives New Yorkers twice the opportunity to stock up on drop days.
